InfoUtil UVT app for iPhone and iPad

The InfoUtil UVT application is intended for students of the Valahia University in Targoviste and aims to facilitate students access to current and interesting information as well as the transmission of messages and notifications of interest from the faculties to students.
The application offers quick access to information focused on the students fields of interest, such as: faculty timetables, faculties within the university, information on the location of the various buildings where both didactic and non-didactic activities take place, useful contacts, as well as various announcements and notifications.
With the help of notifications integrated in the application, students can be informed about events or announcements of interest from the faculty or university, thus being able to be aware of the changes and novelties that have appeared in the didactic activity.
The formalization and institutionalization of higher education in Târgoviste resumes after the Revolution of 1989, when the Technical and Economic University College appears in 1991. Later, by the Decision of the Government of Romania no. 288 of 01.06.1992, the Valahia University of Târgoviște was established.
The Valahia University of Târgoviște has in its current structure 10 faculties (bachelor’s degree - 3 or 4 years), 35 university specializations, master and doctorate studies, training and improvement of teaching staff and open distance education. Currently, approximately 7,500 students study under the competent guidance of 330 teaching staff, in all forms of education, organized in academic departments, benefiting from an appropriate material base. In addition to the didactic and scientific research activity, the Valahia University of Târgoviște includes in its structure continuous training centres in accordance with the requirements of the socio-economic environment in which it operates.
